Once upon a time I was young and carefree
I've never thought of having responsibilities
Life was all about me being happy
Problems were taken care by mommy and daddy
But time flew faster than I thought it would be
This world is larger than it seemed on TV
Love is just another different story
Days are not always bright and sunny
Sometimes rain comes, the streets become slippery
I stumble and fall, I bruise my knee
But I've been told not to self-pity
Running away is not the solution, you see
Life taught me much more than just ABCs
It is so interesting yet somehow it is scary
But the scarier is to think that death awaits me
On the Judgement Day where will I be?

would stay in me as sweet memories
so many things were left unsaid
but I don't know where to start
